Explaining How an E-Nose Works

In simple words..

an E-nose is a piece of technology that detects chemicals and recognizes 'families' of chemicals in order to conclude what specific smell it is sensing. An e-nose tryies to mimic the way a human nose works.

It is already used in the food industry to test if foods are good or not. In the future e-noses will be used to smell diseases and other more specific smells that not even dogs can detect.
